    Hey everyone,

    Long time no see.

Got a question for anyone with Microsoft CRM experience.

According to this page I can run Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 on a Small Business Server 2008 Standard as long as I install SQL Server 2008 R2.

Well, i've installed SQL Server 2008 but when I go to install the CRM it says my operating system is not supported and it just gives me a link to the above.

Any thoughts from anyone with CRM experience would be greatly appriciated.

    Thanks

    Is your server x64?
Make sure you have the latest service packs on it.

SBS 2008 only comes in 64bit. Do you have SQL express installed?

SQL 2005 Express is installed by default with SBS2008 and I had to remove the SQL 2005 Express Tools just to get SQL Server 2008 installed as that was an error I was recieving stating I had to to get it working.

Once that was installed I rebooted and tried to install Dynamics and keep getting the error above.

Taking advice from another site, blew up my server, luckily no data on this server, only AD and exchange for 2 users.

Backed up exchange and am now in the process of installing SBS 2011.
Once that is done, I'll try CRM again and see what happens.

    Thanks for the assistance
