Microsoft credential help

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I am trying to get my head around the microsoft credentials. I am about to take my 1st microsoft exam which has to be 70-656 TS: Microsoft Desktop Optimisation Pack, Configuring..
My question is:
Would this exam give me a microsoft credential, ie: MCTS??? or do I have to take further exams? I cant get my head around what Microsoft are saying in the following link:

Yes, all the TS exams give you MCTS credential.

This is incorrect, some exams (such as the developer MCTS exams) require more than one before you are awarded an MCTS.

This Page lists all of the MCTS certifications, and the exams required to gain them.

In this case, yes, the one certificate will gain you an MCTS.
