    Hey,

When I download memtest86 I download an ISO format and just burn the image to a cd using Nero.

If you have nero you can right click on the memtest86 ISO and select open with and click on nero, then just put in a blank cd and burn it. It will automaticaly make it bootable.

Download the ISO, burn the ISO, and you've got a bootable CD. :)

Depends on what your BIOS is currently set to: the first bootable device will need to be CD-Rom for this to boot from CD.

I can vouch for this one - used it on a new laptop after it blue screened during an XP install - found the memory error straight away. Have got it in my repair kit now :)

Cheers derkit, my BIOS is set to boot from the hard drive first, so I will just swap those settings around to cd first then hard drive 2nd.
