I'm looking to upgrade my laptop from 2GB of RAM to 4GB of RAM to enable me to run multiple VM for the 70-290.

I have been to the Crucial website (as recommended on here) and performed a system scan, which has not brought back the memory I need to buy.

I think I have located the right memory which is on this link http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=Pavilion%20dv9700 CTO&pl=HP - Compaq&cat=RAM

However, it would be appreciated if anyone could cast there eye across this and see if I'm going to purchase the right memory.

PS. Vista's Snipping Tool is awesome!

I know that Vista currently only supports between 3GB and 3.5GB, but I thought it was always best to buy memory in pairs?

    Thanks for your help!

Yes, I have access, but that would mean using a screwdriver :p

Only j/k will take a looksi after I have finished studying, should the details be on the existing memory?

Sometimes one memory bank is easy to get to but the other one can be a hassle to get to. Depends on the laptop to be honest.

Be careful with the screwdriver :tongue

You will probably have it by Thursday. When I got my ram for my PC from crucial I ordered it on the Tuesday night at about 7pm and it arrived at 8:30am on Thursday morning.

Jesus! Your maximum memory capacity in your notebook is 2000GB, or 2TB of ram??? That's crazy!

Nope, crucial's site has to be wrong unless you have a motherboard the size of Paris :D
