    I thought I would post the Certification path that Advent use for their students to reach MCSE level. This might help the people who are worried about making on their own without learning providers... ?

    IT Fundamentals (basic pc use, programs like outlook and office 2003)

    CompTIA A+:
    A+ Essentials exam 220-601
    A+ IT Technician exam 220-602
    = CompTIA A+ Certified

    Trouble Shooting a Microsoft Windows Operating System & Desktop Applications
    Exam 70-271
    = MCP Certified
    Exam 70-272
    = MCDST Certified

    Windows XP & Windows 2003 Server
    Exam 70-270
    Exam 70-290

    Windows 2003 Active Directory
    Exam 70-294

    Windows 2003 Network Infrastructure
    Exam 70-291
    Exam 70-293
    = MCSA Certified

    Windows 2003 Network Security Design
    Exam 70-298

    Exchange 2003
    Exam 70-284
    = MCSE Certified

    11 Exams in total, I think other companies do it in 7?

    *NOTE* Many forum users here @ CertForums believe that obtaining the CompTIA N+ is very valuable and would help a lot for entering the IT industry. This exam is NOT included in the Advent course.
