Hi everyone

I am halfway for my mcdst certificate (I'll have my second exam in a week or two).

After that I'd like to continue studying and I am thinking at MCSA cert.

My problem is that I am not working in the industry (I am not working at all, unfortunately) and I would not have access to a server/domain, although I do have 2 machines connetted in a workgroup.

Would it be possible to study and get certified as MCSA without hands-on work on a proper server/domain?

You say you have to PC's... well when you start MCSA you will get Server 2003 evalutaion edition for 180 days i think.. you can install that along with the xp you have right now. I have had all my hands on experience for MCSA in my lab at home and very litle bit here at work (just last week was my first!! )

You might want to read the MCSE part of this as they apply to MCSA too!

you should do 270 up first as it will just me more advance material from 271 - just cover the objective and get plenty of hands on!

I'm lucky as I do work around servers, albeit nothing too indepth, but it's experience never-the-less.
