    Hi

I just passed the 70-646 so I now have my MCSA 2008. For my next path I am either considering getting the MCITP Enterprise Admin 2008 which will be 70-643, 70-680 and 70-647 or doing my upgrade to MCSA 2012 70-417. I am leaning more towards the MCSA 2012 as I am not sure if I could finish the other 3 exams before they are retired, although it does seem that quite a bit of the material I covered for the 70-646 would be applicable to the MCITP.

Are they are suggestions/thoughts as to what I should do next?

I guess it depends on your work situation / focus.

If it were me, and I deal (or would like to) with more server related items than large desktop deployments I'd be doing the MCSA 2012 upgrade and then heading towards the MCSE: Server Infrastructure. This removes the requirement to sit the 70-680 Exam.

Also, the retirement date is July 31st for the MCITP Enterprise Administrator. That's 3 exams in 5 months. My own available time would find that quite a crush and put me under stress I'd prefer not to be.

Thanks for the advice, yeah I agree the more I think about it the more I think 3 in 5 months is too much. I'll get my MCSA 2012 sorted then consider my next move, as my work want to send me on a training course for something just not sure what yet maybe MCSE related or Private Cloud as we use the System Center Suite

I think it does depend on what you work with although saying that, I work in a 2000-2008 R2 environment and I'm studying for 2012 as I know we'll be getting it....
So I guess it also depends on your current role, skills, likelihood of working with 2012 too. Just my personal opinion
