      Guess what i just added to my future developments.... does this mean ill have to stop using debian and look at fedora more closely? :(

      There a few RHEL distros around, but I'd say the closest and most popular is CentOS. It's a mirror of RHE without most of the RH graphics, and (of course) the proprietary software. Fedora is a bit less stable, due to it being slightly more developmental. Still, changing the repositories (and a few packages) to CentOS, and you can transform FCx into CentOS 4.x

      It uses yum, but up2date is there for the faint of heart :biggrin
