Hi all - just joined up (duh) - good forums you have here (certain unamed ones have banned me for being an MCSE before i came here). it's a rare treat to find somewhere as friendly as this place online nowadays..

As for myself: grew up in zimbabwe, live in london, been to about 8 countries, and married a beautiful chinese girl who's sweet, charming and one hell of a cook - life is good . also currently stoney-broke and unemployed - life is not so good .
also a pc addict, naturally (started out on a spectrum zx-48k+

Hiya Dix - big CF welcome from me too. Sounds like all in all, things are pretty good for you.

So how did you find us, and what are your plans for certs at the moment ?

thanks for the welcome, everyone - found you while researching "guaranteed job" schools . Certs planned - uh, ccna, mcdba, dunno what else - i've got year and a half's exp. as network/PC engineer, but it's all in Africa and about 2 years out of date (never knew chicken restaurants could be so much fun.. uh, yeah, heh..), so UK firms don't want to accept it.

any advice for certs? (want to stay in the hands-on workhop/engineer roles - more fun. big boys lego )
