    Hi all

Really daft question, not a very serious one but one that lightens my day when I get a funny attachment

I use Outlook 2003. Now lets say someone sends me an animated GIF attachment. Sometimes, this appears in its full working glory embedded in the email. Other times, it appears as a static image file. My question is this (or these, rather)

    1) Is the way the attachment appears determined by how you have your mail appearances set (rich text, HTML etc) or is that down to the sender?

    2) If you receive a GIF and it is static, can you make it 'work' again?

    Thanks and salutations
