Low-Tech answers to high-tech problems

    I would get the cover off and spray lots of WD-40 in there. It displaces the water and keeps if from causing corrosion of the exposed electrical parts, and will not harm the plastics or circuit boards. Then get it in the rice for a few days to lift any remaining water out.
