Hi, I'm a bit new here so this may seem like a really blonde question.

I've decided (on advice of the tutor at the tech) to do Cisco IT Essentials at the local tech, then self-study for the A+. What would be the next logical step to take after that for someone who likes to just fix things? I'm not interested in going into web design or anything like that. There are so many out there & I'm not sure what they are all for.

    All advice appreciated.

The N+ is probably the best next step from there, depending on where you want to go with your career

Network+. If you plan on supporting users, the MCDST is also good.

Thanks for your replies, they confirmed what I had thought about the N+ being next in line. Also just found the thread Certifications - the basics, that helps. I just wanted to have a clear path in mind as I didn't want to sspend ages studying something and find that I reached a dead end without really achieving anything. Thanks again.
