I've just begun learning about Local Security Policy in XP.

Is there an option that could stop users from saving files onto their hard drive?

I guess you would need to alter the permissions on the folders to do this, which can be done with a logon script.

I read something about this ages ago. I will have a search on google for it after work and see if I can find it.

 

Ho so only a login script would do this?
