I wonder what are the best books and other study materials for the Linux+ ?

Used to administrate several Redhat 7 and AIX servers for a company i worked for and use FreeBSD on my desktop so i have a fair amount of experience.

Thought i may spend a few hours a week going through the Linux+ material to eventually sit the exam , however, not allowing it to interfere with my MCSA progress that comes first at the moment.

    thanks

Haha I was expecting you say "er no thicko aux" then. Some system I didn't know about.

Yeah the Myers book looks really good. Used his 2008 Security+ book and smashed that exam

lol .... nahhh one of my silly typos  . the only AUX i know is "auxiliary".

i'll have a look at the meyers book. sybex seems to get good write-ups and exam cram (which i have started look at for some MS certs) has a few.

I've passed a few of my MS exams using exam cram books amongst other things, highly recommend them

Oh I'm not sure. They seem to focus on CompTIA don't they. Good old exam cram 2 and MS press + CBT Nuggets if you've got the budget can get you through anything IMO :D

I had to stop my MCSA for a while so rather than rereading the MSpress books i am going to try the exam cram's.
CBT Nuggets are good i used them awhile back. I also like the look of testout, however, far to expensive for me.
