    Hi all,

Ive signed up to various job and it job websites and uploaded my CV(cw jobs, total jobs etc etc), I am currently studying for my N+ but recently passed my A+, I would like to get a junior/newbie position as I don't have the experience in an IT position but I do have lots of customer service experience/skils.

So a position in an isp say 3rd person support is what Im looking for, or any company that needs a knowledgeable but not expert to help run their systems?.

What keywords should I be using to search for these types of positions?.

Im currently sending out about 10 cv's a week to IT related company's also for any vacant upcoming positions and to keep my CV on file.

Im not really getting any response, ive had my cv looked at by a few company's who have amended it and I think it's ok, it it just hard at the moment?.

    Thanks for the help.

I am in similar situation. I always try with different keywords like "entry level" "it support" "junior". I also wonder about other keywords..? Which ones do you type in?
I am not getting responses at the moment. Sometimes people get response 3 months after applying.
If you don't have any experience I don't think your first role will be in 3rd line support.

    Hi,

Ive seen a few people on here get 3rd line support, I guess you just get lucky. As for keywords I use "it support", junior it", "helpdesk" or "it helpdesk". Just looking for a few more as its hard to shift though lots of job ads as you have proberly found.

Same here. And i have an extra trouble, i have a full time job(not IT) what i do not want to give up for anything.
But i have an idea( does not work yet, at all!!!)
I am look for the companies who maybe looking for different IT roles. That way I get the name, address, etc.
Read about them, if i like what i red, i make then a speculative application. Maybe wasting time. But more application more chance.

    anyway,
did you get the A+ cert already? I think(as far as i remember...) we passed the same time. And I got it last week..:)
