Make sure you use the right books... MS Pres 2nd editions.. massive books but all you need is in there!

 

i beg to differ about the MS Press books - i found they didnt contain as much detail as i would have liked - try them with a combination of the ExamCram books.

it worked for me

 

I found that the MS press books dont contain everything you need. But there are additional online info links inside the book, so it pays to use the links.

 

Hi, Ive recently started studying toward the MCDST test too. Ive been using a variety of resources. Have you booked a date for the tests yet?

 

no i havent yet but i am planning on doing it next week some time

I was thinking about early april for mine... but now the exam cram book I ordered off ebay has arrived, I'm thinking "holy shirt! I still have much to learn" .... so now thinking about may for 271 hopefully june for 272 (im studying both together yet focusing on 271 atm

 

no i am doing the test hopefully next week i am just waiting for my photo id to come so i wont have to travel to hagley to do my tests
