    We have a couple of regular posters who are girls (even a staff member, but she's a bit weird (I'm going to pay for saying that)) but yeah...

    Anyway, digression.

    So what's your story Sarah? Looking to do IT certifications? Do you have any at the moment? Working in IT currently?

    I work In Admin, which bores me to Hell. I have my name down to do this course - Computer Maintenance and Installation (A + ®) OCR Level 2 Certificate at a local college in September. I would like to end up at a Technician, probably look at Help Desk first to work my way up.

    I think It’s about time I did something more fun and interesting, thought I might get some good advice of here to see if I'm doing the best course. I've never done IT before but have a lot of family members working in IT so I know bits and bobs.

    Any advice would be much appreciated :D

    Looks like you're heading in the right direction.

    You should be able to find a lot of information out from the forum that previous people in similar positions have asked. Two tips are to use the search function (found at the top of each page) and to view stickied posts in the relevant sections.

    Then once you have a decent understanding of what your aim is you can update your signature and profile :)

    If you have any specific questions that you feel haven't been previously answered then ask away.
