I was thinking of sitting this exam back in the past, but have changed job and never worked with MySQL since.

 

Thanks Luke, I'll be the first to admit that it's only a basic exam that demonstrates familiarity with the product, but it's the first step to the others... which I'm hoping to pass in April after some more study.

Yup, the exams are still Thompson Prometric as Sun was for right now, (Oracle is Pearson Vue) but it's all undergoing transition right now. But yes, what I just passed is classed as an OCA now. Same material, same exam. See here:

I'll be getting my OCP DBA MySQL in April all things being well. After that I'll be going for the OCE MySQL Cluster. Once that's done I'll start cross-training to Oracle.
