This is only a possible sale depending on offers.

How much would yould you pay for the system in my sig without the external hard drive, monitor, mouse and keyboard?

There is nothing wrong with it I was just thinking about building a new rig and just wanted to see what my current one would be worth.

Honestly?? £200 - £300 and that's at a push. It's a dual core 775 with some i3, i5 and i7 based systems being offered at about the same price

Really thats a suprise I would have thought possibly around the £400 mark, I might just keep it then and use it as a test system or something after I get around to building a new one.

You have to understand that this is a couple of generations old now (we are now onto the Sandy Bridge CPU's which are actually quite cheap) and can be picked up for about £50, you can get cpu\mb and ram bundles on ebay for £200, the cards start at £30 (bidding starts rather than BIN) etc.

Unfortunately the resale value of second hand old computers really isn't that good.
