    Well done Elli5on

Can I just ask a quick question while I'm here?

Would it be appropriate to ask at an interview whether the company would fund training such as MCSA etc or could that look like all you want out of them is a free way to get certified?

Absolutley. Don't phrase it quite like that though. You could maybe ask "Do you have a dedicated training budget?" or something like that. Many bigger companies have in-house training teams as well, you could ask what sort of courses they run if they have one as well.
