The Canadian Government just sent through the labour market opinion as to whether he could employ a foreign worker due to lack of local talent, and it was positive - means I get to stay in Canuck land for a while longer, wahey :)

A big bonus as I'm really enjoying my current place of work, the icing on the cake is a payrise that had appeared as well.

Time to go celebrate with a few cocktails/martinis (same price as the damn beer over here).

Nice one mate, I'm a bit jealous as I really loved Canada when I was there on honeymoon. Even so, driving through Vancouver city center in a 30ft long RV is a memory I'm still trying to forget. :)

Yup. Spent a few days in VC, then had an RV for a week the plan being to drive up into the Rockies. While on the flight over a stewardess recommend Whistler when we told her our plan. Since that was north of VC anyway we decided to stop there, then stayed the whole week since it was such a great place.

I had it in my head that I'd be on wide open roads and it would be easy to drive and navigate. Well the RV pickup was south of VC and we had to drive through there to get north to Whistler. So it was like driving through central London in terms of traffic. I think I aged a year that day. :)
