my photoshop book is referring to something called a jitter setting that has something to do with options varying across paint strokes? I have photshop open and I can not find a jitter setting in either of the brush tip shape panel or the option bar. And of course there is no picture. Anyone know where I should look? Or even what I am looking for?

ok! I finally found where the jitter settings were hiding thanks to a little help from adobe live docs and my irish stubbroness that I can't move pass this point till I know what the frack he is talking about!

Anyway to find the jitter settings in CS3, go to the brush pallet/brush tip shape/ shape dynamics. From here you can change the size, roundness, diameter, angle, and a few more things.

    Beginners book my arse!

Hm - I did a google search when you first posted and found that, but as I wasn't sure which version of PS you had, and don't know the app at all well I didn't say anything! :ohmy

Well I would say thank you harry. However, since you left me PS hell for 24 hrs, I will say instead that you owe me a very BIG pint if we ever have the chance to meet.:biggrin
