Hi all

Reading through, I want to start studying for a+ exam. Looking through here, you reccomend mike Myers is the man. On amazon, the comments on the MM 7th edition says its outdated?? If so what other book should help me?

It's missing the Windows 7 bits. That's all.

Thanks for the reply, how would I make up for the missing Windows 7 information? I was looking at the comptia a+ book by mark Edward soper on amazon. Does any member have expierence with this?

Mike has made a windows 7 book to be read along side the all in one book.

I had to use EXAM CRAM COMPTIA A+ 220-701/220-702 Fifth Edition by David L Prowse.
Bcuz there wasn't one from Mike Meyers.

Fireball when you planning on taking the exam? I think there will be new updated A+ soon.

Thanks for the replies. I'm aiming to be taking the exam around the end of feb/march. I want to study as much as possible, so is there likely to be an update? Because I want to be gaining knowledge as soon as....

 

That book should be enough to pass the exam.
Upgrade takes time. It took long time for that Mike Meyers book to come out.

 

Ok, I've ordered mike Myers a+ 7th edition book. I will add the win 7 one at a later date.
