I have seen it several times, liked it the first time it played, but what's the point of it?

there used to be a website full of ads called 'adcritic.com' which has now become a commercial site for PR/marketing types
but man that had some funny ass adds on it
old US Mentos ads were VERY funny
and there was some ohio state lottery with Mr T in it, also VERY funny
far more amusing than the drumming gorilla if you ask me,
although it was amusing when it first started off :)

I think an advert should give you some clue about what it is about. I gorilla (or a man dressed up like one) does not give me any clue to any product. Also the song does not give me a clue.

I've seen better and funnier adverts. One for West red salmon.
You see a bear fishing for salmon and then you see this guy trying to steal the salmon from the bear.
You see the bear doing karate kick and so on. Very funny.

    See it here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOpKFPEah3E

I think its the best advert ive seen, was incredibly funny the first time i saw it

phil collins has also re-entered the charts because of it

it makes perfect sense, cadburys products are all 'moments'

hence their old saying "whats your cadburys moment?"

then theres a lyric in the song, "ive been waiting for this moment all my life"

    get it?

An if you really want to know, it is Phil colins on the drums with a cgi gorilla on top.

My boss is a big phil colins fan and he brought phil colins live dvd into work when Phil was with genesis and the Gorilla has all his manarisms.

There are a lot of websites out there dedicated to Ian Brown but I think this one has got to be one of the best for detail and use of images:-
