Hi. I'm looking to get started in the tech side of IT and this place looked like a good one to get some info and support. I've heard that A+ is the best place to start in order to cement the basics before moving on to the big boy's stuff, so I'm going to be trying that.

I'm fairly sure I can learn the A+ at home because it's mainly stuff I'm familiar with, are there classes to learn the more advanced stuff or is that all learn at home too?

Right, I'm off to read up on which books to get and so on.

    Thanks :)

Welcome to the forums. You made a good decision by starting to study for the A+. It is good knowledge to have when you start out.

    Good luck with the studies.

Hi & welcome to CF :)

Yep there are classes to learn the A+, but you can also learn everything for the A+ at home too.

And "yes", the A+ is the place to start.

    Good luck.
