Hi,
Hope someone can assist. I have an interview coming up and as part of it I need to do a 10-15 minute presentation, the subject of which is 'Issues and daily challenges of supporting a complex IT environment'
For some reason I am drawing a complete blank. I have done presentations before, some much longer but I seem to be struggling with this one. Does anyone have any ideas where I could start?

Rather vague title they've given you.

Enterprise IT Environment based in what? networking? desktop support? server support?

Maybe base it around the role you're going for - what is the sort of work you'd be doing if you got it?

 

We need to know more on what the interview is about before we can give you some pointers, it's no good going on about tickets and backups if you're talking Development then giving a presentation outside of that area is going to look a bit silly.

OK, then you should be looking at issues like monitoring, backups, disk space, performance, server builds, tickets (problem, incident and change management) as well as patching and upgrades.
