Well after finishing my stint in the army yesterdayI was quite shocked by a phone call late (and by late i mean approx 9:00) last night.
From that phone call i have an interview today at 12:30, so getting a wee bit nervous now
Hopefully ill be ok though, and ill check back in later today to let you guys and gals know how i went.

Well it went exceptionally well
Didnt even seem like an interview, went in started talking to the IT manager and found out that hes effectivly the only guy that does the IT side of life.

50 Users total, so nice amount, if i get the job then he would ofload a chunk of his respnsibilites to me. Effectively meaning i run the entire network myself .

Second interview on Friday, but i got really good feed back from the interviwer wh couldnt find any bad things to say about my interview technique.

Couple things for all you others looking at interviews soon.

1) Get there about 15 mins early (i mean walk in) introduce yourself and book in.
2) I asked and went to the loo (not to use i might add) splash some water on your face if your feeling a little nervious, if not then give your hands a quick wash. It cleaned any bits from my fingernails and got rid of any clamyness/sweat on my hands. (makes for a better handshake)
3) Take a seat and just relax, grab some water if offered (dont get hot liquid cos they come in cups and will cause prbs when the interviewer comes), take a gentle read of any notes you have braught, or some mags that are there to calm yourself.


Just a few things i did, it helped me, i went in without any nerves at all.

Anyway friday 10:00 is my second interview with same guy plus financial manager and customer relations manager

will keep you all posted (could be working by next week :P)
