Installing Firefox 2 on Fedora Core 6

    Fedora Core 6 developers have decided against putting Firefox 2 in Fedora Core 6 so I thought I would share this tip how you can upgrade to Firefox 2 from Firefox 1.5 the easy way!

    Open a terminal

    Become a super-user by typing
    Code:
    su
    Then type:
    Code:
    yum -y --enablerepo=development update firefox
    and press enter!

    It will download from the development repository FF2 - a download of around 21MB.

    After searching Fedora's site for over an hour looking for an easy way to do this, I finally Googled and this link came up as the second link.

    Go to Google and type in without quote marks:
    installing firefox 2 in fedora
