Importing Excel charts into word

Does anyone know how to import an already created Excel chart into Word? The only option I have come across allows you to create a new chart within excel and import that into the word document but not to import an already created one.

In the Word application choose the Insert menu then Object, click the tab for Create from File....browse for your excel file...and if you want it to update each time you open it...click the link box..and press OK.

If you just want to insert the chart from excel into a word document and not link it, then dont complicate things and just copy and paste the chart.

Thanks for the help. In the end I have pasted it using a paste special which allows an object(the excel chart) to be pasted and also can allow it to be linked.
