Of my CSS Missing Manual book by David McFarland. I have to say I love the way this guy teaches to newbies. Most of the time he gives me the little why of things. As I get deeper into the book and CSS the more excited I become! Hence, the reason for this post.:biggrin I actually was afraid of it when first starting and the sucky tutorials online was not helping the first bit. I am glad I spent the money for this book. Not only am I learning it but I am understanding and retaining it! And more good news. He has a js book coming out in june. That is already on my wish list at amazon and a must have I will be getting. And he has a dreamweaver cs3 too, which I will get next month. They have a flash book, but sadly it is not by the same author. However, I will take a chance on it and if it does not live up to the same quality as those of davids someone will be hearing from me! :dry

Any who, you know how I get when I'm excited and just need to share with the rest of you.:biggrin

Actually, once you are finished with the book, you can rough out a draft of the review and send it to me for a bit of editing. Then you can post the finished result in with the other book reviews here at CF and I can "advertise" it the way I do my reviews, so many others can benefit. Just a thought.

Just how much nicer can I be to you Mike? When people send me privys asking if we have ever met in real life and did you really use to work for Trendscender. I tell them yes I have met and went to lunch with both you and josh, and that you are indeeed a pretty boy but with a brain under all that blond hair. To the second part I reply trendscender who?

Lets see what else can I do? Wellll I could promise to never ducktape you again. What would be the sense in that though when we both know that I was lieing?:biggrin

Well... just be gentle when you pull all that ducktape off next time! Ow! :ohmy :biggrin

I can't answer to the "pretty boy" part... but I must admit that there's NO chance I'm gonna go bald anytime soon. :D

You be sure to let us know next time you're near Nashville. :)

Good to hear, since I have this book on the way from Amazon. You'll be pleased to know that his works on Dreamweaver are equally impressive. It was the Dreamweaver MX version I had, but I think his style is pretty consistent from version to version.
