    When's the next gathering?!

I want to talk to people who won't yawn at me when I try and talk about computers!

So, seeing as these things sometimes take an age to prepare, and as we're one member down on the regular attendees list (damn you, Pheo!)

    1. When is it going to be (apart from soooooooon?)

    2. Where is it going to be?

I was thinking either Laaaandon town, or maybe Edinburgh, or Birmingham again (as that's as 'central' as a good night out is going to get...)

    3. Can we tempt anyone new to come? (oh go on, we're all really friendly. None of us bite. Before midnight.)

LOL. Well said, however as you're discovering, I don't have the opportunity to socialize much myself. However, if a significant group from the other side of the pond managed to make their way to Boise, I'm sure I could free up an evening. :biggrin

I don't think I'll get to go to VM08 despite registering - don't think I'll get the time off work.

But if I said... Birmingham... what dates would people be interested in?

How about something for Halloween? So 25th October (Saturday)?

    Any takers?

I'm quite impressed someone on the forum knows where Lichfield is.

Most people I speak to don't have the foggiest. :P

I work in the centre of Birmingham. A few of the people I work with are from there. Or thereabouts at the very least :)

Yeah... Lichfield, it's old and boring, but hey! We're a city. Gotta love cathedrals...

...not even going to attempt at promising I'll come to this one... but it sounds a really good idea of Arroryn's to do one again soon as you always seem to have a good laugh!
