I'm going to toot my own horn here just a bit. I got an e-mail from an editor who's going over a book I contributed to (it really was just a bit on one chapter) and here's what she had to say:

Excuse the choppiness of the text. I can't believe my name would come up in a search but stranger things have happened. I apologize in advance if it seems like I'm engaging in shameless self-promotion. Believe me, it's not like I authored the book or anything. These days, a lot of technical books are written by a team of contributors and my role thus far, is being one of the minor contributory staff.

If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.

Edit: Oh this is too funny. I did a google search of variations of my name and came up with these folks. No relations, I'm sure, but...oh well, have a look .

 

Give over(English term) Trip, chill , your one of the most decent people I've ever come across, no need to tread on eggsheels here.

Maybe we could post our real pics somewhere, as in photos.I've seen Trips photo over at certtutor, maybe we could have a similar thing here.I used to say I'd never ever post my photo on the net but now I don't really give a hoot, I feel like I know you people well enough for you to see my ugly mug.

If you really want to I dont mind, just start a new thread. The only thing is you need to host any pictures yourself. Either on your own webspace or with one of the very many free webspaces providers.
