The Great Circle of Vietnam
Original: Nối vòng tay lớn (Trịnh Công Sõn)

Watch Video

Translate from Vietnamese:
Mountain, forests link with distant sea
We go, hands' ring broadens to tie our land (together) Infinite ground, our brothers come back
Gather happily like a haboob (is) whirling (the) wide sky
Our hands connect, encircle our Viet Nam

Flags tie wind, gay nights tie day
Bloodstream links our fellows' hearts
Raising human love in new days
Cities link with very-far villages
The deads link holy with life
And smiles go on lips (*)
From North to South, tie together our hands
We go from desert fields, cross mountains
Cross perilous falls, our hands cross hills (**) Poor villages to city, hands tie together
Blue seas, silk rivers connect a death-life circle

This song is very popular in my country. Of course, the Vietnamese version ^^

Its very nice folk style song tuvanit shame the lip sync is out on the video.

To be honest, I prefer the other song 'White Long Dresses Lull...' that is very calming.

Do you like any western music?

I dont shame anyone! What do you think? I receive it from my Vietnamese friend and post it. It's not synchornous 'cause the recorder.

And the words 'translate' is not lyrics, just translate from original song lyrics (Vietnamese)

Sorry if I speak so rude!

Western music? I don't know much about that term.

I love instrumental, some old style songs like "Yesterday", "Dust in the wind", "heal the world", ...

I am just saying that it would have been better if the sound and video were synchronised.

Shame in this context means *sad* not something shameful. English is confusing sometimes even for us

That is what I mean, western as in American/English/European music.

Yesterday is a classic Beatles song and will probably be remembered as one of the most popular songs for all time.

Hi, BlueRinse, sorry for my mistake! Right, that song will be better if it's synchronous!

I love my traditional music and western music too.
When I was 15, I used to a crazy fan of MJ. Now, I listen instrumental commonly because it's make me feel easier.

You love White-Long-Dresses? Me too ^^ I made the picture at top-right on my site link to that song.
Thanks for your regards!

My English is not so good! If I speak something wrong, please correct it! T.T
