while i am in msn everything looks great my webcam works and i can take pics also
i can hear the voice of people on the other end of the connection but my voice doesn't go to him!

and there is an audio video set up in msn and there is no color or decreasing or
increasing in bar (so that there is a problem about mic)

and i can't record my voice via voice recorder (i can hear nothing even i talk to mic)

    so , due to problem

i am sending some photos of my settings(IN TURKISH but you may understand, if you can't , ask me) , where is the mistake that prevents my voice to go to other end ?

Try changing the codec for the mic to the VIA AC97 codec.

To do this go to "control panel" then "sound and audio devices" and look for the setting from there.

I see nothing wrong with your settings.

I suspect the mic is faulty.

I would double-check that the Mic is plugged into the correct socket personally. some of them have two - one for the mic, one for the headphone. Even if its only one, it might still be in the wrong socket. try plugging it into the others on the sound card, and see what response you get, if any.

I will only enter this thread once.

Check your mic is in the correct socket as has been mentioned, your setting look ok, so if your mic was was in the correct socket then its probably f*******.
