HP Microserver - noise level?

Have it running 24/7 for the last 1 1/2 months... quiet, can barely hear it!

I've got one too after alot of twitter temptation (@theprof) . Its as quiet as my little NAS box i've got its barely audible.

 

Mine is almost silent but don't have it on 24/7. Has anyone upgraded theirs to 16GB and if so what memory did you put in it?

 

Had mine on virtually non-stop for 8 months, still almost silent. I got mine from Purchase Servers | Buy HP ProLiant Rack and Tower Servers | Cheap Server Deals as they have some decent offers. I think the £100 cashback from HP is still going as well.

Just found an article that says the N36L as well as the N40L can be upgraded to 16GB as well (HP Proliant MicroServer)

I am tempted to get another...

 

I got mine July 2011 and has been running 24/7 non stop with 8GB ram, it is sitting on a shelf in our spare bedroom come study/office and never had a problem with it.

I did see they are back on offer with the £100 cash back and was thinking of getting another one.

Just to echo what everyone else has said they are quite and for the dosh great value.

I brought a couple of them, with the £100 cashback, each ESXi Host has 16GB RAM and 4 NIC's.
