Had a full day out yesterday with the camera and a bunch of people from POTN in Vancouver, good meet up and made up for my external images HDD failing on me Friday night.

Sorting out a meet up with Phoenix this afternoon for beers/curry if we can find a location between a Brit who's not investigated south of the Richmond area in Vancouver (me) and Phoenix who's from Stateside. Should be fun

 

I say we go exploring.. lol

 

I haven't been able to do it for a month. Have fun mate, drink for me as well

Well just cleaned up my place, it was do for a weekly clean! Also designing a layout of how I want to get my furniture setup. Yesterday I did some work in the morning, mainly BES maintenance and in the afternoon just chilled with my parents and watched a movie!

 

Er, if you mean me JK then I'm staying in Canada, the boss got a positive labour market opinion to keep me employed so it's been postponed for a year or two.

On topic though, a few pitchers down and time to find curry

Gregs a top bloke and we spent many a pint discussing the awesomeness of IT
So much fun I may pop back next weekend for some more awesome grub, honey beer, and company (not in that order ofcourse)

Great. I went motorcycle riding with my son yesterday so it was a great weekend. Now we're planning what to do with the other bike that I'm building.

 

Apart from the knee problems, he's loving all this really.

back to realities of work now though. The school are no longer in special measure following a successful ofsted last week. Perhaps now I can actually end my 6 month secondment 16 months after I started it!

 

The weekend was pretty cool, Saturday was spent dropping flyers off for the local Roller Derby teams tournament that is on next weekend.

Sunday was spent helping the girlfriend sort out her new skates and then she was training with LRD and I was helping out.

when not doing that I managed to watch the Matrix (still awesome - hadnt seen it for a while) Martix Revolutions (2nd one, better than I remember) with the third one still to go.

 

I think i may of seen this on TV - is it where the smash the crap outta each other trying to overtake people? - may have to plan a trip to our leeds office when i get back to the UK

I had an eventful weekend - My trip to amsterdam was cancelled (gutted) so on Friday i took to the local irish pub to drown my sorrows - and got chatting to an 18 year old danish girl at the bar...... Kinda happy i didn't go to amsterdam in that respect!

Spent saturday touring round Berlin with some guys from England who i met earlier this week - seen a few sites, checkpoint charlie, brandenburg gate, berlin wall etc - then watched england beat wales 2-0, and went to a few clubs after - superb day!

Went to Karaoke at the pub last night, and i was in stitches - there was a michael jackson tribute, who is like something you see on the x factor bad auditions, but 10x worse. Ended up getting smashed and me and two swedish blokes ended up singing motorhead - ace of spades, and a crowd of 200 joining in - was pretty fun

Not so fun getting into work this morning after getting in from last night at 4am
