How much do I need to know on printers?

Exam objectives say 9% for 2006, and a strong emphasis on laser printers according to mike myers all in one, he does go on about it a lot lol.

I see for the most part os and system components are the most important, just dont want to concentrate too much on this area.

I have never taken this exam but I can't imagine it'd be anything more than the general concepts of a printer.

I'm sure if you've used one before and you read the section in the book, you'll be alright ;p

 

I think all u need to know about printers is probably...

The process of a laser printer.
What kind of printer would be best for certain jobs (quality-wise and such)
and obviously what a computer needs to be able to use a printer through a network
o and printer languages.

 

Know the different types of printers and the lazer printing process
