hi can someone tell me how many questions to expect in the 70-271 and 70-272 exams please

Im afraid no one can tell you that its a completely random number each time, normally varying from about 40 to 70.

 

My 271 was 49 questions, 272, 40 questions.

I don't think the MCDST specifically goes past 50.

 

I'm pretty sure I had 65 questions on my 271, because I remember breathing a sigh of relief when I notice my 272 had only given me 45 questions.

65 questions?? Hold crap man. My 270 wasn't even that much (60) and they give you way more time to write the 270 than they do 271/272. Based on the time given I wouldn't expect the MCDST to go over 50 questions. Tough break.
