Anyway, for any of you who really like a laugh, you should do all you can to get hold of any Scottish newspaper today (esp. The Sunday Herald)
You've never seen such grudging praise from journos and sports folk alike - talk about sticking in their throats. Its quite hilarious.

I can not wait for Mondays Scottish Sun I would be surprised if they even mention the result - the Scottish version of the Sun has an amazing ability to ignore things like England winning a world cup! They have totaly ignored things less than that in the past.

 

Since it's after 4:30 p.m. in the UK and only one person responded to your message Gav, I'd suspect that the hangovers must be killer (either that, or people have lives). No hangovers in this house. No football either (I know that practically makes me "anti-male"). Worked on the book until late last night. Been catching up on e-mails and forums and scanned the Sunday paper. Mundane chores today. If your head still hurts, take more tylenol and drink plenty of water. Hope you feel better. Oh...you weren't talking about yourself?
