    Hi all. Just a quick note to apologize for the outage today which was caused by our hosting provider. Fortunately SimonV has resolved our issue and we are now back to business. Going forward I've already got us a beefy server lined up so we're just waiting for the current hosting to expire. Thanks. Jim

    Times are hard, and those solar panels I bought for the elec are now looking like another bad investment :S

    Ahh mate, unless you got in early, the FIT payment isn't really worth it these days, add it the fact that if you're unlucky and don't own your roof then you're bugged when trying to sell (unless you pay off the debt).

    We looked at moving our solar panels with us when we moved house last year, what we didn't realise was that if you move them then you don't get any FIT payment, in the end we left them on the old house and decided against getting them again.
