    Hi Experts,

This may sound like a weird question but I am wondering if anybody had tried setting up two virtual printer servers (running windows server 2012) within VMware and then enabling Hyper V on both virtual printer servers to setup "high availability" printing? So two Windows 2012 virtual servers already in a VMware environment, enabling hyper V on those virtual servers. Would this be possible? Running Hyper V inside VMware ESX - will there be any issues?

    Many thanks in advanced

Hi just doing this right now, yes it can be done although obv the more nested you become the more powerful your kit needs to be. Nested ESXi5.1 on ESXi5.1 easy enough. What version of ESX/i are you using mate?

Definitely, you can run nested hyper-v on ESXi 5.1.
