hi ,what can i do?

    hi everyone:
    I am a Chinese,currently i am studying English in london as a intermediate student.
    I am looking for a job to continue my I.T career in london.but i have mailed too many emails,nobody contacted me.I do not know whether my level is low?

    2 things come to mind:

    1. Your CV needs to be tidied up &
    2. There is a recession going on, so it's going to be alot harder to get into IT over here. Not all companies actually send out a rejection letter.

    As bad as this will sound, communication is important, how can you do your job when you can't communicate clearly? obviously, ideally, it wouldn't matter, but the sad truth is, you will have a hard time finding an employer who will actively choose someone who is learning to speak English, over someone who can already speak it.

    And in these times, an employer wants most bang for his buck, so validates points above, he will need to do more with someone who isn't fluent in English. Over someone who is.

    But having said that, it isn't impossibly. plenty of places you need hardly any communication skills as its you, making pizzas for example, but in IT, it is one of the main things you need.
