thanks for the welcome. I am hoping to change career from hairdresser to IT. Read the sticky on self study by zimbo....how long do you think it will take to pass the first couple of certs to get started in the industry...cheers

 

I guess that all depends on you.

How much knowledge, and i think more importantly, how much experience do you have?

This can be gained from spare time/voluntary etc..

Some do it quick, some slow, dosent matter as long as you study properly and avoid braindumps and so on, just so you get a cert. Dont mean a thing if you cant apply it.

Howdy. You can use the site certguard.com to check for braindumps. However, I believe the database has not been updated in awhile so if the site you're interested in is not listed then buyer beware! If the site IS listed as a braindump then run away! Usually you can a fairly good idea just from the website and what it is claiming. Some even brag about having real exam questions! Stay away!
