Hello everyone, I have recently completed a BSc in Computer Networking and now looking to do certifications to enhance my CV and better my chances of getting a job because I keep getting rejected as I have no experience. I was thinking of doing MCDST does anyone have any recommendations?

    Thanks :D

Hello and welcome to CF! That is a good cert to start with, but if I were you, I would do the A+ first then try and look for a job. the Network+ and MCDST can be done while you're doing your first IT job. This is something I actually did when I first started.

    Welcome!

In my opinion, the MCDST is worth pursuing. :)

MCDST is a very good certification for your first IT cert - as you have been using XP.

Plus you can use MCDST as elective for MCSA and eventually work towards MCSE.

I have sent you some info which will get you started - in my view you should also try to gain some soft certs such as ITIL v3 and Prince2 2009 edition

    However thats just my view.

    Happy studying
