The rest of the troops will arrive shortly, so I'll get the usual questions in first - how are you studying (class-based, or distance learning)? Do you have a background in IT, or are you just starting out ?

Finally, do you prefer Jaffa cakes to Gypsy creams ? Just that we have this mad trout called Greebo who has a thing about biscuits and kettles

Hi Amanda, welcome to Certforums, I don't know anything about VB.net, and I'm not too clever, but there are some real boff's here who'll be able to help. It's a pretty friendly place, and there's lot's of knowledge here about lot's of stuff. Hope you enjoy your stay, and good luck with the course.

it is going to take me a while to work my way round this site but bear with me.
in reply to some of the postings i am doing distance learning.
i do work in IT but not programming this is something that i just started out in. Want to get out of working in London "Hate it"
I love all Kinds of biscuits exept boring wholemeal they have to have chocolate on them. i'm a bit of a chocoholic.
i'd love to be in the chat room on thursday but it may take me a while to work out how to get in there. see you soon

I see you also live in London Amanda. I use to live there myself before moving to Newcastle (where everybody knows your name) and I lived in Londond for 18yrs and then Newcastle for 3yrs and now I am living in Aberdeen...I am hoping to move to Inverness then the Shetlands, the Orkneys and who knows where after that? where are you planning to move to Amanda?

I am from Newcastle Upon Tyne I lived there for 21 years before moving to this place . I'm sure you loved it up in Geordie land. I miss it so much but i do go home once a year to visit the family.

 

I lived in London, now i live in the US, and ill be back in London at the end of the month
