Hey guys what exams are current? and what book do should I pick up to get me through both exams? I have worked in I.T for four years and now have decided to get some certs

Current exams now is 220-701/702. In order for them to pass you need CompTIA A+ All in one 6th edition by Mike Meyers, PC Technician street smarts by James Pyles and site http://www.professormesser.com/.

 

What thepureintheheart said. Also, the 601/602 versions of the exam will remain available until February 28, 2010, so you can still take those exams. For the most part, it doesn't matter which versions of the exams you take. The A+ certification doesn't designate which exams you took.
