    LOL - pretty unique username, so it was a no-brainer really!

    I don't usually post there (in fact, I've only posted about three times!) but I recently had a question about sticking two routers on the same Smellywest line and thought it would be likely to get a response there. It did - and the answer was 'no' :(

    Didn't really surprise me - I know that you only get one WAN Ip assigned by the modem - but I was kinda hoping I could split the signal off after the modem by hubbing it - especially since I don't NEED a WAN Ip for the second router - I just want to be able to sniff 'outside' my firewall without setting up a DMZ or hardening the machine to a ridiculous level

    we are talking about ntl:telewest here, two cups and a string would be far more reliable :D
