Hey guys and girls.

Well i am new to this website and came by it as a off chance of looking into other peoples reviews on the Advent Computer Training.

Well abit about myself. I am currently 23, 24 in August, and living in Stoke-on-Trent.

I went to college for 3 years back in 2001 and studied;

• GNVQ Intermediate: Information & Communications Technology. Studies this for one year and passed with a MERIT grade

• AVCE Double Award: Informations & Communications Technology. Studied this for two years and passed with a C,D grade

Altough having these i have never been able to get into the IT Industry, which i have now become desperate to do ha ha!

Welcome to the forums.

Have a look at some of the other areas of the site for some info on what studies would help you break into the IT industry. There are plenty of useful posts covering just about everything.

 

Well, those qualifications validate basic office skills, not IT services. I've a GNVQ myself - It won't get you a job in IT.
Hopefully you'll find information on some qualifications that will though, on this very site. So welcome, and enjoy.
