hello I am looking to visit Australia next year, and would like some
help regarding work and job prospects.
I am currently studying at southampton university Cisco CCNA academy which
    will
completed next summer, I also have the Cisco essentials cert.

This is a change of direction in my career as I have been working in an
business environment, I therefore have no experience working in
networks, however the academy provide full use of the labs.

I will be trying to find some experience in the meantime to show some
    practical use of my skills.

If anyone could provide some advice for what roles would be suitable now
and when I go to Australia along with any guidance it would be most
    appreciated.

thanks might go to the one in leeds next april, as will be in a better position dates wise, I am really enjoying my academy course at the moment and halfway through ccna 1 with average grades of 90% i am boring my girlfriend with all my osi talk and coming home excited about making a wan. But I love it and its a shame it took me this long to find my vocation in life:rolleyes:

But I guess if I continue as i am at uni happy days but really need some actual work experience or will have no chance of getting a decent job.

would a helpdesk job be an appropriate place to start for a ccna student?
