Hi, just a brief intro about myself. As of last week I was made redundant for the 1st time, I hated the job so it's no bad thing.

My history has been professional bum, I managed to spend over a year just drifting round the world enjoying life. On returning to good old blighty and needing cash desperately I went back into my old profession of sales and management of various computer/web companies. Which was fine, money was good, but I had very little satisfaction from any of the jobs.

I have recently decided to make a career out of my hobby which is basically building and blowing up computers (over the next few months I hope to cut down on the blowing up part ).

I have done the rounds with sales reps from Computeach etc, but on coming across this site yesterday and having a bit of a read through some of the posts. I have decided to put distance learning on hold and start with the basics get my A+ certification through self tuition. I have just ordered the Mayers book and I'm currently looking around at places that can offer advice and a bit more practical experience locally.

I'm so glad that I've managed to find this place so early on. Here's to the future
